David Carden, Managing Director of FedEx Thailand and Indochina (2nd right) joined with Junior Achievement volunteers including Program Manager Betty Stewart (at right) at the recent US Trade Fair in preparation for the annual FedEx /Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge (ITC).
Now in its fourth year, the FedEx/JA ITC program aims to educate and inspire youth in Asia Pacific countries, including Thailand, to help them understand how entrepreneurship can improve the quality of their lives and the communities they live in.
Thailand students have featured prominently in recent years, besting all comers from around Asia Pacific to secure first prize in the regional finals two years running in 2010 and 2011.
