Bed Supperclub opens its doors for one exclusive evening to sample Spanish wine and cuisine while welcoming Chef Victor Burgos as guest chef.
While polishing his skills across numerous hotels in Europe and Asia, chef Victor remained true to his Spanish roots. When recently asked which dish he excelled in making, he candidly replied, "Paella". So paella is exactly what Victor Burgos will do in Bed. Only it's far from any average size; this giant paella, set to be installed in the middle of the restaurant, will cater for the 80 or so guests in a uniquely designed paella pan. And as the dish is prepared in front of guests the opportunity to interact or pocket any trade secrets will also be available.
The new movida of Spanish cuisine that went worldwide at the turn of the century, had both eyes and palates focused on the Iberian Peninsula in hope of some ground-breaking labels. Therefore, paired with this centre stage culinary performance is the appearance of some notable Spanish wines, to shine some of the most underrated wine on today's market into the spotlight.
