Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presented an honor plaque to Dow Chemical Thailand Ltd., a major sponsor of the 8th Thailand Chemistry Olympiad, represented by Mr. Vorapong Vorasuntharosoth, Government Affairs Director for South East Asia/Australia/New Zealand Region, in the opening ceremony which recently took place at a host university - King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi.
The 8th Thailand Chemistry Olympiad was held during 4-8 May 2012. This year, 101 chemistry students were selected to compete in the National Chemistry Olympiad, which aims to promote Thai students’ interests in sciences and further develop their potential to compete in International Chemistry Olympiad where they can establish networks that go beyond cultures and boarders.
