Intermec announces the release of Super Easy, Super Ready and Super Fit, 3 new flexible and potable printer solutions especially for SMEs, retail and healthcare environments. The company aims at 40% growth this year.
Chukiat Jearjesdakul, Regional Sales Manager, Indochina, Intermec Technology Corporation, the leader of Business Auto ID products, said that this year the company plans to expand the customer bases of its printer and barcode scanner products to SMEs, retail and healthcare businesses, as well as to expand its distribution channel via 20 distributors.
Aiming at 40% growth this year, Intermec estimated 50% and 60% growths for its printer and barcode scanner segments respectively.
For Business Auto ID group in Thailand, the estimated growth for this year is 30%, similar to that of 2011. The value of the Business Auto ID market is about 3-4 billion baht.
Currently, the ratios of Intermec’s Business Auto ID, portable computer and label and barcode printer segments are 25%, 40% and 25% respectively.
Mr.Ow Song Thiam, Product Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific, Intermec Technology Corporation, said that to achieve the targets, the company is planning to introduce 7 new product solutions for businesses of all sizes. Among those solutions are the Super Easy label and barcode printers for small businesses, the Super Ready printers for large businesses, and the Super Fit mobile receipt printers.
The Super Easy provides flexible and portable solutions with trouble-free installation for limited space. The PC43d and PC43t Desktop Printers is ideal for light duty label and barcode printing optimized for SMEs, offices, retail shops, mini marts, restaurants, postal service, ticketing service, hotels and theaters. Offering fast throughput at 8 inches per second, the printers are equipped with a universal Icon interface or color LCD in 10 languages and come with the ability to wall mount or use battery power.
An HIPAA*-compliant, the PC23d is a smart desktop printer designed to set a new standard for user-friendly, efficient printing operations in healthcare environments. It is ideal for wristband and hospital labeling applications as well as pharmacy and medical records. It is also optimized with a disinfectant resistant case, built to resist chemicals and cleaners.

The Super Ready PM43 and PM43c industrial mid-range label printers are suited for harsh industrial environments including transportation, manufacturing and distribution centers. They come with a unique full color touch-screen, featuring a choice of 10 languages or easy to use universal icons, and a multi-lingual intuitive web-based user interface. And with integrated device management, the printers can be monitored from anywhere via Intermec handheld computers, laptops, smart phones or tablet computers using WiFi or Ethernet connection.
The Super Fit PR2 and PR3 are the industry’s smallest and lightest mobile receipt printers ideal for mobile kiosks, tradeshows and roadshows. They can be seamlessly connected to Bluetooth? 2.0, USB or IrDA with select Intermec devices or other mobile computers, tablets and smartphones.
