Bangkok--30 May--Kasemkij Hotels
The Thai Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (TSPCA) recently hosted a “Volunteer TSPCA Meet and Greet’3” function at Kantary Hotel, Kabinburi, to recognise about 100 field volunteers for their work with TSPCA to better the plight of animals over the past few months.
TSPCA Projects they were involved in included animal aid during last year’s flood and the ongoing campaign for a national animal welfare bill. The two-day event, which included an introduction to the organisation’s current and future challenges, saw several senior volunteers receive Certificates of Appreciation for “outstanding performance”, plus a tour of Kabinburi. Currently, TSPCA has more than 1,000 volunteers from both the private and government sectors, as well as many youth.
