Oh encouraged consumers who love art and design to join the “BlackBerry Charm Design Contest” by submitting charm designs for the two new smartphones in BlackBerry’s popular Curve series. The contest will be hosted on www.jeban.com from 28 May-15 June 2012. Oh also provided a design demonstration at the event.
Thailand — RIM recently introduced two stylish new smartphones, BlackBerry Curve 9320 and BlackBerry Curve 9220 for socially-connected customers in Thailand. To celebrate the launch of these devices — which feature a nodule to hook charms onto — RIM has announced the “BlackBerry Charm Design Contest” in partnership with www.jeban.com and stylish artist, Ms. Hathairat Charoenchaichana (known as Oh-Futon).
BlackBerry and Jeban fans in Thailand are encouraged to join this special contest and show off their design talent by creating a charm for the BlackBerry Curve 9320 and 9220 smartphones. The top three winners will receive a BlackBerry Curve 9320 and have their design produced and distributed at the BlackBerry Lifestyle Store at Siam Paragon, along with Oh-Futon’s celebrity design.
? To participate, consumers must be fans of the BlackBerry Thailand Facebook page (www.facebook.com/BlackBerryTH) and the Jeban Facebook page (www.facebook.com/Jeban.MakeupIsMagic)
? Submissions are open to any charm style, design technique or theme.
? Designs have to be original and not been produced before.
? Submissions will only be accepted in JPEG file format.
? Participants can submit their designs on www.jeban.com, entries are welcomed from 28 May 2012 to 15 June 2012.
? All submitted entries will be property of RIM and Jeban. Both organizing parties will have the right to use these images when required.
? All valid entries will be judged by Jeban representatives and voted on by the general public. The winning entries will be the top three designs with the combined highest judging score and public votes.
? The top three winning designs will receive a BlackBerry Curve 9320 (one unit per winner). Additionally, their designs will be produced and distributed at the BlackBerry Lifestyle Store by Jaymart, located at Siam Paragon.
