On the occasion of Dacon Inspection Service co., Ltd 16th anniversary Ms. Mallika Kaekla, General Manager insist its strength and growth in the inspection services market by inaugurating the “Dacon Training Institute” (DTI) — As the first company in Thailand to organize American Petroleum Institute (API) sanctioned training and examination as per the industry setting API standard.
Ms. Mallika added “With long experience in inspection services, Dacon has well understood the requirements and needs of our customers in energy, oil and gas, petrochemical, power plant and refineries to continue to expand their staff and subcontractor’s technical knowledge and capability with certified personnel. The API system carries almost 100 years of industry experience, built into its standards and codes which today set’s the operational guidelines for the majority of facilities worldwide. This is a huge source of knowledge ready for the Thai industries to tap into through training and certification for their personnel.
For the past 2 years Dacon has been conducting the training courses both in house and at client’s facilities, leading up to API organized exams in held Thailand. So far these have been focused on API’s Certified Pressure Vessel Inspector (API 510), Certified Piping Inspector (API570) and Certified Storage Tank Inspector (API653) Courses, with additional industry relevant courses being added.
With state of the art training facility in Rayong and world renowned trainers with extensive on site experience, Dacon Training Institute aims to be a market leader in high end industry related training and certification to international standard. Apart from API Training courses the institute organizes many other training programs through the year that are custom suited to the client’s requirement.
