From 1 May to 31 May 2012, Medici Kitchen & Bar will present a sublime opportunity for its well-heeled clientele to thrill to additional visceral and auditory sensations to complement the exquisite Italian food. Experience soaring vocal lines and melodic phrasing delivered by a true master of contemporary opera - Yves Baron aka Le Tenor - who will be making an exclusive appearance at Hotel Muse Bangkok after a successful world tour. Once again, the legend is back in Thailand for a homecoming series that will imprint upon the memory and emotions simultaneously.
The highly charismatic ‘Popera’ virtuoso, Yves Baron aka Le Tenor, will be making Hotel Muse Bangkok his home for an unmatched 5-week residency. Following a string of performances lauded by critics, he has sung at famous venues and for top owners around the world, including David and Cathy Guetta, Jean-Roch Pedri, Thierry Klemeniuk, Regine and Castel. Discovering classical guitar thanks to Jean Luc Derhy, he composed his first songs in his early teens, before exposure to Parisian nightlife with DJ Tokoto Grimblat and night club owner Addy Bakhtiar allowed him to become one of Europe’s top promoters. At the same time, he entered the world of opera care of teachings by Udo Reinemann and Montserrat Caballe, before creating the luminary Man Ray Monday Opera in 2004; the precursor to a long-standing world tour.
