This month Kamon Japanese Restaurant & Steakhouse is showcasing one of Japan’s most popular fresh water fish delicacies, the unassuming ayu, otherwise known as ‘sweet fish’. The ayu’s six different tender meats are a taste sensation keenly sought after by connoisseurs of Japanese cuisine. Our master chefs have concocted a superb menu featuring the wonderful tastes and flavours of the ayu for your dining pleasure.
Choose from such delectable dishes as fried ayu rolled in plum leaf, simmered ayu with sake-flavoured soy sauce, grilled ayu with salt and rice porridge with ayu. A special six-dish bento box is also available.
