KTC is confident spending will increase with the latest “Use Them or Regret It” campaign which is the only occasion in the year when the points increase in value to the highest level. More than 3,000 partner establishments in dining, traveling, shopping and entertainment categories are participating in this campaign. Greatest value is offered with the possibility of using 99 Super Points to claim one movie ticket or 1,000 Baht dining or shopping voucher plus 100% additional rewards points from now until September 15th, 2012. It is expected that members will claim products and services with their points during the campaign which will result in 15% increase in credit card spending.
Mr. Rathian Srimongkol, President and Chief Executive Officer, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, said “KTC is the leader in the Thai credit card market. We have revolutionalized the reward points program with the first phase of ‘Shop Now Get Now’ campaign in 2007. For the first time, members could claim products and services at partner establishments immediately using fewer points and without the need for a catalog. It was highly successful with immense participation by the members. Over the past five years, we have enhanced our system and installed the EDC machines at more than 3,000 partner establishments nationwide and introduced new reward points models including the e-voucher, the points for cash and the points for discount options to offer even more convenience and variety to the members.”
“The ‘Use Them or Regret It’ campaign is one of the strategies we will use to return to our leading position within three years. We have a different approach to marketing from other credit cards. We will focus intensively on the constant reinforcement of the KTC Forever Rewards points with investment in computer systems and more EDC machines across the country to facilitate the use of points in place of cash. And of course we are offering extra value with the promotional campaigns our marketing teams have elaborately developed. We are confident that members will choose to spend with their KTC credit card with the hope to gain more points. We expect the more than usual redemption of KTC Forever Rewards points to claim products and services during the campaign which will drive the overall credit card spending up by 15%.”
Mr. Woravut Nisapakulthorn, Executive Vice President - Credit Card Business, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, said “The ‘Use Them or Regret It’ campaign from now until September 15th, 2012 is like an annual promotional campaign.
