*What’s inspired you to become a chef and how to get to this goal?
K. Somsak Mongkrudorn, Executive Chef started his professional career a long time ago
He obtained experience and skills of cooking field by working with leading hotels in Bangkok and overseas, such as The Dusit Thani Hotel, The Siam Intercontinental Hotel, The Bangkok Peninsula Hotel,
Hiton International Bangkok at Park Nai Lert Hotel, Sheraton Grand Sukhumvit Hotel,
Sheraton Pattaya, Panpacific Hotel และ Kitima at the Kronendal Cape Town - South Africa.
He also was invited to be a special chef for cooking show at USA. After many years of experience at overseas,
this year K.Somsak have important challenge , he will return to be Executive Chef at Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel-Bangkok.
*So what’s your cooking style?
K. Somsak invented to created a special menu to meet all tastes in foods. The foods must represent beautiful art.
The ingredients have to preserve the freshness. He selects the quality of products from New Zealand , such as lamb from New Zealand which fresh and clean. Every dishes is created with raw material production sustainability and safety of New Zealand. New Zealand is a country which have a wide range of high quality meat production and they also export lamb most of the world. New Zealand sheep/lamb are raised in open systems , free to run in the field , eating grass and grain. We ensure that lamb from New Zealand absolutely grown by nature.

As for this special occasion, K.Somsak has created a special set menu of New Zealand lamb ribs with a quality taste together with premium wines from various countries. Starting from appetizers such as: Startes and Soups, Main course offer “Pan roast lamb Rack herbs crust mustard honey sauce Gratin Potatoes market vegetable” and Dessert. The form of foods and decoration, The fresh raw ingredients, tastes and sense of harmony that because of he lived in abroad for many years. He always pays attention , have fun and enjoy when cooking.
