Dr. Vorapol Socatiyanurak (right), SEC Secretary-General, received the ICT for Society Award and the Core Process Improvement Award from Tevin Vongvanich, Chairman of Thailand Management Association (TMA), at Thailand ICT Excellence Awards 2011-2012 in recognition of the SEC’s leadership in maximizing technologies to increase corporate efficiency and public services, on June 19, 2012. The ICT for Society Award recognizes the SEC successful Start-to-Invest free mobile app developed to promote financial literacy and investor education. The Core Process Improvement Award recognizes the SMART SEC ICT Services and Operating Systems Project. The Thailand ICT Excellence Awards Project is co-organized by TMA, the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), Software Park Thailand, and Thammasart University’s College of Innovation.
