Tapas Y Vino led by Spanish Chef Joan Tanya will host “San Fermin” festival during1-31 July. Guests can enjoy the feast of San Fermin here in Bangkok. Head on with your friends and family and savour Spanish favourites wonderfully created to celebrate this special event. Food enthusiasts who enjoy cooking as much as eating can learn tips and techniques on Spanish cooking class with Chef Joan in the restaurant open kitchen.
The festival of “San Fermin” held annually in the city of Pamplona is one of the most internationally renowned fiesta in Spain. Over one million people attend this event every year. The opening ceremony draws a huge crowd around Town Hall, where the Pamplona party kicks off with the firing of a small rocket called the “chupinazo,” then leads into a huge celebration of live music, wine and dancing. The most well known and exciting events of the San Fermin festival is the Bull Run. Every morning a collection of bulls are running through the streets to the local arena. Alongside the bulls are thousands of people joining this run. It is also a family oriented affair when every member is gathering for sumptuous feast either at restaurants or in the comfort of their own homes.
Aside from Chef Joan’s regular a la carte and set menu, special dishes wonderfully created for San Fermin celebration are such as:-
- 12-hour slow cooked lamb shank
- Cod fish with roasted peppers and garlic graten
- 1-kilogram of Angus prime rib served on sizzling stone plate and condiments
- A selection of Montaditos
