UNIQLO (Thailand) Co., Ltd. - Japan’s No.1 fashion brand - announces that it will open its 5th and 6th stores in Thailand, at Siam Paragon and The Mall Bangkapi, by November as part of the company’s global expansion plan. The additional 2 stores will be in strategic locations, namely Siam Paragon in the heart of the Bangkok business district, and The Mall Bangkapi, situated in an area of greater Bangkok with high residential density and vast numbers of potential consumers.
Commenting on today’s announcement Mr. Takahiro Nishimura, Chief Operations Officer of UNIQLO(Thailand) Co., Ltd. stated, ”This expansion in the number of UNIQLO stores will not only strengthen the brand's ability to reach its customers through different channels, but at the same time will deliver to them products that are in high demand, in a wide array of designs and sizes. This expansion is a reflection of the enhanced buying power in the Thai economy, and will enhance our ability to serve many more consumers in their local areas.”
The UNIQLO store at Siam Paragon will be located on the 1st floor and the store at The Mall Bangkapi will be the first time for UNIQLO to offer a 2-storey retail experience in Thailand. The decoration concept remains in line with previous store concepts featuring a clean, simple look with block-grid floor plans featuring warm environments created by wooden floors and non-invasive lighting.
In addition, UNIQLO (Thailand) Co., Ltd. will post announcements on the recruitment for new staff to prepare for the stores, which will offer the utmost in customer service.
