Dow Chemical Thailand together with employees and its partners, comprising Bangkok Bank, Krung Thai Bank, Kasikornbank, Bank of Ayudhya, Unitech, Kem Kote and Vista, donated US$31,650, equivalent to one million Baht, to Operation Smile Foundation Thailand with an aim to help children, who suffer from facial deformities.
The fund, raised from Dow SEA Charity Challenge, Dow Thailand and Dow’s caring employees, is expected to help facilitate 70 cases of facial deformity surgeries and post-operative cares for children, who live in Rayong province, where Dow Chemical Thailand’s facilities are located.
Residents in Rayong area, who suffer from the facial deformity, cleft lips and cleft palates in particular, can register at Map Ta Phut Hospital, which is the center of registration for this project.
