On Thursday July 26, 2012, BarSu and Canpac invite you to chill-out in style as elegant bartenders uncork a selection of outstanding Ch?teau Ste. Michelle wines from Washington State, USA. Each notable wine will be complemented by delicious gourmet bites from BarSu’s open kitchen.
Respected Italian sommelier, Giulio Saverino will be present to introduce Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit’s exciting new concept, “primoVino by Rossini’s”, and to share his extraordinary knowledge and insight about the evening’s wines. All paying guests at the wine tasting will also receive a credit voucher for Baht 1,400 to redeem at Rossini’s award-winning Italian restaurant.

Using grapes sourced from the Columbia Valley, the renowned winery produces exceptional wines that deliver a complex blend of New World Washington State fruit intensity with an Old World style. Guests at BarSu will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling Domaine Ste. Michelle Brut accompanied by enticing amuse-bouche. The first wine of the evening will be Columbia Crest “Grand Estate” Chardonnay 2009, an engaging white wine with delicate aromas of apple that will be matched with a flavorful baked scallop with beurre blanc espuma, sea asparagus and mussel and parsley juice. The second white wine of the evening will be Ch?teau Ste. Michelle Riesling 2010, a crisp, dry and refreshing style of Riesling served with a delightful confit of king salmon, chorizo and petit pois. The well-balanced Columbia Crest “Two Vines” Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 will follow and be matched with veal tortelli, girolle and wild mushrooms. Wine lovers will also enjoy Ch?teau Ste. Michelle Syrah 2008 with a tart of slow cooked duck with parsnips, and Columbia Crest “Two Vines” Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 complemented by irresistible bitter chocolate griottine clafoutis with white chocolate ginger ice cream.
Six distinctive Ch?teau Ste. Michelle and Columbia Crest wines and BarSu’s creative light bites are only 1,400 Baht net, including a credit voucher for Baht 1,400 for Rossini’s (valid until August 31, 2012).
