AirAsia Seat Reservation System Back Online after Upgrade of Database for Move to Don Mueang Completed Ahead of Schedule

Bangkok--30 Jul--AirAsia AirAsia previously halted its seat reservation and travel data alteration systems for flights to and from Bangkok scheduled from 1 October, 2012 onward to upgrade its database and change all airport codes from Suvarnabhumi Airport's designation of BKK to Don Mueang Airport's designation of DMK. AirAsia would like to now announce that the upgrade has been completed (as of 29 July 2012), allowing the seat reservation and travel data alteration systems to be once again be available to customers along with AirAsia's online check-in service. AirAsia passengers with flights scheduled from 1 October onwards will receive flight confirmations stating that they will depart from Don Mueang Airport (DMK).
