AKARYN Samui is celebrating its first high season of operations with a Summer Sensations special experience that turns up the heat on Samui's hottest new hideaway
"We are delighted with the progress AKARYN Samui has made in a just a short time and are very appreciative of the way the travel trade and consumers have quickly embraced our new luxurious resort on a quiet secluded corner of Koh Samui," she said.
Since opening its doors to guests in April, the stunning new offering from Akaryn Hospitality Management Services (AHMS) Founder Anchalika Kijkanakorn, has welcomed 1,420 guests from 29 different nationalities and is operating at full capacity for all resort operations.
Feedback from guests eager to try out the resort located on what is being called Koh Samui's last secret beach has been very positive with 37 reviews on TripAdvisor.
Summer Sensation rates are being offered from now until 31 October 2012, with seven nights luxurious accommodation in a Pool Suite including return transfers by luxury car from Samui International Airport and daily gourmet breakfast for two from THB6,500 / USD210 per night, including all taxes and services.
Located seven minutes from Samui Airport by luxury car transfer, the resort is also seven short minutes from the shopping and nightlife of Chaweng Beach, to where there is a regular resort shuttle service.
AKARYN's precise position is four minutes south of Choeng Mon Beach where it is set on Hanuman Bay, a 400-metre long light sandy beach protected by picturesque granite outcrops, with a 70 x 50 metre clear swimming area with a sandy bottom throughout.
Further out 50 metres from the shore is the work of the pioneering Pure Blue Foundation, owned and operated by Ms Kijkanakorn, where it is working on a coral regeneration programme that will increase coral species from 13 to 25 species and ensure a long term and sustainable environment for guests to explore when snorkelling. The tidal effect on the beach is also minimal at 10 metres for 12 months of the year.
AKARYN Samui showcases a total of 52 residences offering maximum privacy. There are 27 regular Pool Suites and 7 Sea View Pool Suites as well as 18 one-bedroom Pool Villas that can be combined into 9 two-bedroom Pool Villas if required.
The superb food and beverage offering as the resort sets its sights on becoming Asia's premier epicurean destination is led by the beachfront Edge Restaurant where guests may enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner menus of Thai and international dishes — and The Legend where Royal Thai Cuisine offers lunch and dinner.
Its signature restaurant will be the Spanish-inspired Ochos, which opens in September in time for the Samui Fine Dining Festival, although all dishes from the outlet are currently available. Three times a week AKARYN lays on an extravagant gourmet experience — with Wok Street Thai Night, Gaucho BBQ Night and Tapas Night.
The food and beverage experience is complimented by 24-hour room service and a selection of private in-residence dining or on the beachfront available and tailor made to guest's requirements.
AHMS' award-winning SPA IV is a key feature of the resort also which is headed by Alex Castaldi in the role of Resident Manager and his team of 135 persons. To date AKARYN Samui has welcomed 72 travel agents, 18 journalists and has celebrated two weddings.
