Pattaya’s largest and best convention venue, Pattaya Exhibition And Convention Hall (PEACH) successfully hosted Thailand’s biggest hospitality art competition & showcase during the Pattaya Food & Hoteliers Expo 12 (6th Edition) from July 26th-28th, 2012.
This great 3-day event consisted of a diversity of activities and workshops for the hospitality industry. The exposition aimed to raise standards food & beverage service, flower arrangement and housekeeping.
Royal Cliff Hotels Group is one of the main sponsors for this event, which aims to target Thailands’ professional hoteliers and restaurateurs. The highlight of this event was the International Culinary Competition ‘Pattaya City Culinary Cup 2012’ where 9 international and domestic culinary teams displayed their abilities and expertise to vigorously compete for the first of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Trophy under the international standard of world cuisine competition.
This event also included a ‘Buyer & Seller’ meeting, the ‘Exhibition Fair’ and the ‘Pattaya Hospitality Trade Expo 12’ which drew interest from hoteliers, restaurateurs and food business entrepreneurs.
Chonburi Provincial Administration Organisation Chairman, Mr. Wittaya Khunpluem together with the leader of 'Rao Ruk Chonburi' party and former Minister of Tourism and Sports, Mr. Sonthaya Khunpluem and Pattaya Mayor, Mr. Ittipol Khunpluem were granted the honour of presiding the opening ceremony. Also in attendance were Chonburi members of Parliament, Mr. Poramet Ngampiches, Chairman of Tourism and Sports Committee, Mr. Rattanachai Suttidachanai, President of Food and Beverage Association Eastern region of Thailand, Mr. Yuparach Wongdownkul, President of President of Chef’s Association of Pattaya, Mr. Surasak Punkluab, President of Housekeeper Administration Association in East of Thailand, Ms. Somjit Sanlahung and various delegates.
This year Royal Cliff Hotels Group received 3 trophies, 5 silver medals and 4 bronze medals from F&B, Housekeeping and Spa Competitions:
