Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, together with Bangchak Group executives, kicked off the second year of "Wrong DI: The Upcoming 2025" under the theme "Bangchak NeXGen Tech for Greenovation." The initiative aims to unlock employee potential and foster a culture of innovation across the organization. The event was held at Bangchak's Head Office, M Tower.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Chaiwat stated, "Wrong DI is a vital platform for exchanging ideas and developing innovations that shape the future of our organization. It aligns with our core values, 'iambcp,' particularly the 'I' for Innovation. This year, Bangchak is committed to cultivating talent and driving innovation to navigate rapid global change and ensure sustainable growth for our businesses."
Following his remarks, Mrs. Narupan Suthamkasem, Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Business Development, shared key revitalization strategies across six priority areas: clean energy, climate technology, bio-based innovations, retail customer experience (CX), the circular economy, and AI integration.
The event also featured insights from three distinguished speakers: Mr. Chanchanit Bandhumasuta, Country Service Line Leader, Brand Health, Ms. Pimtai Suwannasuk, Senior Client Officer, Ipsos (Thailand), and Mr. Peesadech Pechnoi, Founder of BASE Playhouse and owner of the TikTok channel @peesamac, a tech, productivity, and AI specialist. Together, they inspired participants with stories and insights on market research in consumer services, marketing-driven sustainable business models, emerging trends, and real-world applications of artificial intelligence.
"Wrong DI" provides a space where Bangchak employees are encouraged to challenge conventional thinking, take initiative, develop greenovative technologies, and embrace learning from mistakes.The program is spearheaded by the Bangchak Initiative and Innovation Center (BiiC), in collaboration with the Corporate Strategy and Business Development and Corporate Management and Organization Development divisions.
