The School of Management (SOM) at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) recently hosted "AI & The Future of Asia," a dynamic forum that brought together prominent voices from academia and industry to explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence in shaping the region's future.
The event provided a platform for high-level dialogue and strategic networking, welcoming CEOs, policymakers, researchers, AIT alumni, and other key stakeholders to discuss AI's impact on business innovation, leadership, and sustainable development across Asia.
Prof. Yuosre Badir, Dean of the School of Management, delivered the opening address, followed by welcome remarks from AIT President Prof. Pai-Chi Li, who emphasized the Institute's commitment to fostering innovation and the responsible use of technology.
Opening remarks were delivered by former Minister Dr. Suwit Khunkitti, who highlighted the importance of ethical innovation in driving Asia's progress. Guest of Honor Dr. Jes?s L?pez also shared thought-provoking insights that enriched the day's forward-looking discussions.
A key highlight of the event was a panel discussion moderated by Assoc. Prof. Jon Nak Choi from
the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). The distinguished panel featured:
