Step into the World of Connection:

In a world where all connections are at fingertips, why are we drifting apart? How can arts reconnect us in a meaningful way?

Some answers lie within "WWW." Held by The Art Auction Center, this thought-provoking exhibition provides a forum where we can contemplate connectivity in the digital age through 136 remarkable artworks by leading Thai artists.

The Art Auction Center, Thailand's No. 1 art auction house, invites you to WWW Auction Preview between 16 and 25 May from 10 am to 6 pm at Museum Pier and auction, which is scheduled to start at 2 pm on Sunday 25 May 2025 at the same venue.

Step into the World of Connection:

Held under the theme "A World of Connection," the art event lets viewers explore the role of art amid the raging data flows in the digital age. In this fast-paced, hyperconnected era, art becomes more than a bridge between people it is a profound mirror of our shared humanity. While the world appears constantly linked, true understanding often feels out of reach. But here, art serves as a compass, guiding us back to the essence of who we are.

"In the age where everything moves fast, art stands as a space of stillnessoffering us a moment to reflect and reconnect with something deeper,"

Mr. Piriya Vachajitpan, a founder of leading auction house "The Art Auction Center", shares about the concept behind "WWW" before adding:

"WWW opens a windowfor both seasoned art lovers and curious newcomersto rediscover the true value of seeing."

Welcome to the World of Connection

"Welcome to a world rewired, where windows never close and the distance between us has all but disappeared. We are more connected than ever, bound together by an invisible thread of networks - so omnipresent that it has become part of our consciousness. Here is where we speak, connect, remember, and dream.

Through this vast, abstract system - something people of the past could scarcely have imagined - we see the world in ways once impossible. The river of time surges faster, and life is in a rush. The internet has placed the entire globe at our fingertips, allowing us to see more than ever before, yet often at the cost of seeing deeply. Perception multiplies - but clarity grows rare. Still, something enduring persists, something deeply human.

Winding through these clouds, we often find ourselves too high off the ground, weightless in a world of data. Yet each artwork has the power to anchor us - expanding our view outward, while gently folding us inward, asking not what we know, but who we are beneath

the surface. The digital world brings us closer to that vision - faster, wider, and with new dimensions to explore. In this shared space, the act of connecting becomes an act of understanding.

When life is filled with borrowed words, our original motive becomes unclear. WWW, the latest exhibition by The Art Auction Center, brings you to a connected world where shared passions transcend distance. Here, we are not only linked by networks, but by what truly moves us. All our 136 proudly presented lots draw you in, forming quiet bonds by the weight of their own meaning. At our exhibition, you don't have to rely on any signal to connect because art is timeless. An hourglass sand-clock of its own, where time is never lost, its grains never run out, and its true value never diminishes with the passage of time".

This painting by Kitti Narod depicts a group of people standing in the rain with umbrellas. The artist's unique style is shown through the use of bright colors in clothes and the vivid pink background. Also, the artist creates playful yet simple human figures, which is one of his unique signatures. Kitti often draws from everyday scenes and blends them with elements of pop culture. His approach transforms ordinary moments into visual symbols reflecting society. The result is artwork that is easy to engage with. Therefore, this work encourages viewers to explore slowly and enjoy its details.

"THE ENDLESS WAVES" by ALEX FACE x MUEBON (2022) / Spray, acrylic gouache and oil on a vintage galvanized advertising board / Estimated Price: THB 1,500,000 - 1,800,000

Alex Face and Muebon are two of Thailand's renowned graffiti artists. They also earn reputations at an international level. Each artist possesses a unique visual identity. Significantly, the collaboration between the two artists is rare, making this artwork truly fascinating. The painting sarcastically shows playful characters on an old billboard, profoundly demonstrating graffiti art. Through depictions of two beverage giants, the piece critiques capitalism and its vast influence on how people consume under the spotlight of pop culture.

"TIGER" by Thawan Duchanee (2008) / Oil on canvas / Estimated Price: THB 4,000,000 - 5,000,000

This oil painting on canvas demonstrates Thawan Duchanee's expert ability to convey the raw emotion of wild animals. The muscular form of the tiger is painted with dynamic, flowing lines, and the oversized fangs intensify its ferocity. Above the tiger, a constellation of stars appears to move in the same direction as the animal, adding symbolic depth to the composition. The work is marked by a refined rhythm and an ability to draw viewers into a profound emotional experience, making this piece visually striking and deeply resonant.

"LOTUS POND" by Tawee Nandakwang (1985) / Acrylic on canvas / Estimated Price: THB 4,500,000 - 5,500,000

This oil painting is one of the works highlighting Tawee Nandakwang's artistic ability to distinctively portray the ideal characteristics of a lotus pond. He especially shows a dreamlike view with soft brushwork and cool colors to create depth, while warm tones bring out the beauty of the lotus flowers and leaves. The painting captures a peaceful feeling that helps the viewer connect with inner calm. Although the image looks realistic, the overall effect is almost surreal, due to Tawee's careful composition and artistic choices.

"DREAM OF THE HOMELESS" by Suchao Sisganes (1985) / Oil on canvas / Estimated Price: THB 3,500,000 - 4,500,000

This oil painting on canvas significantly reflects the artist's solitude and sadness. He uses cool color tones to depict a melancholic theme. Also, he creates the fragile shape of the house, enhancing the sense of vulnerability. His artistic approach is rooted in his hardship in life, where art was the only pillar to keep him moving forward. The work aligns with the Expressionist style. Suchao received strong support from Pira Ditbanjong, whose encouragement played a vital role in the artist's continued creative journey.

"SUPHANNAHONG" by Chamras Khietkong (1952) / Oil on canvas / Estimated Price: THB 1,500,000 - 2,000,000

Chamras Khietkong is recognized for his exceptional skill and expressive technique in oil paintings. His work typically falls into two categories: portraits of prominent Thai figures and depictions of important historical events. His confident and precise brushwork brings the scene to life with emotion. This painting captures the majestic Royal Barge Suphannahong gliding along the Chao Phraya River, with Wat Arun Ratchawararam temple in the background. Using orange tones as the dominant color, the artist creates a vivid atmosphere reflecting Thailand's cultural richness.

The painting on canvas, by Chalermchai Kositpipat, showcases a unique fusion between realism and idealism in the form of Thai traditional mural painting. The artist's unusual technique is evident in this work, especially in the intensive red background. In traditional contexts, red often serves to separate sacred realms from the human realm. Furthermore, his precise line work shows a mastery of technique that highlights his excellent artistic skill.

"CHILDREN'S GAME Ed.3/9" by Khien Yimsiri (1961) / Bronze / Estimated Price: THB 1,200,000 - 1,800,000

This bronze sculpture by Khien Yimsiri shows a popular Thai children's game from the past. The work shows a form of simplicity. It is one of his unique work's features that he aimed to reduce details and highlight its clear concept. Khien skillfully creates shapes and forms based on the Sukhothai idealistic sculpture style. The National Museum guidebook describes this piece as having smooth lines and flowing forms that give a sense of movement. It is also one of the artist's early works before he started to create semi-abstract sculptures.

"The 60th Anniversary of Lambretta Journey from Thailand to Florence, Italy" by Inson Wongsam (2023 - 2025) / Painted on Lambretta X300 SR and Painted on Helmet / Estimated Price: THB 1,000,000 - 1,500,000
