
Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited (BSRC) organised the 18th "Let's Help with Love" activity to celebrate World Environment Day 2025. The event was held at the Mangrove Forest Conservation and Eco-tourism Learning Center in Chonburi Province and included mangrove planting, aquatic species release, and waste collection in the surrounding area. BSRC employees joined hands with local government agencies to plant over 500 mangrove trees, including Rhizophora and Avicennia species. The team also helped cultivate 3,000 mangrove saplings, released juvenile mud crabs into the ecosystem, and cleaned up the mangrove forest and nearby areas - all as part of BSRC's commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Mr. Pongsathit Pichanan, Deputy Governor of Chonburi Province, presided over the event. Joining him were Mr. Anuwat Rungruangrattanagul, Director, Acting Chief Executive Officer, and Senior Executive Vice President of Refinery & Operations of BSRC; Mr. Suthep Jualaoong, Director of Marine and Coastal Resources Office Region 2; Mr. Suriya Kittimonton, Director of Marine Department Region 6; Mr. Sunchai Chanasongkram, Director of Environmental Division, Chonburi Provincial Office of Natural Resources and Environment; Dr. Ballung Nueangsang, Director of the Institute of Marine Science, Burapha University; and representatives from local government organizations such as the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization and Saen Suk Municipality. A total of 180 BSRC employees and their families participated in the activity, demonstrating the company's strong commitment to environmental conservation, as well as the restoration and protection of coastal ecosystems. These ecosystems serve as critical habitats and nurseries for marine life and are rich in biodiversity of high ecological value.
Mr. Pongsathit, the Deputy Governor, emphasized "The unity and collaboration between government and private sectors in carrying out good deeds for our shared home are powerful forces that will drive sustainable local development".
