In celebration of Pride Month, Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a manufacturer and distributor of beverages under the Suntory and PepsiCo brands in Thailand, reaffirms its commitment to fostering an open and inclusive workplace culture that embraces differences and respects individual identities. Guided by the "People-First" concept, the company is committed to comprehensively empowering and nurturing employees by actively fostering a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) culture under the theme "Uniquely Me, Growing as One." This reflects the belief that every individual holds unique value and potential, which can collectively drive personal and organizational growth. As part of this ongoing commitment, the company has recently extended " Dependent Benefits to Same-Sex Spouses and Domestic Partners," enabling them equal access to company benefits on equal terms with employees in opposite-sex spouses and domestic partners. This marks another significant step toward creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can confidently and proudly embrace their authentic selves.

In today's modern workplace, equality and inclusion are crucial for attracting and retaining talented employees in the long term. According to a 2025 World Economic Forum survey, 27% of people have quit a job because they didn't feel comfortable expressing themselves in their workplaces, a figure that has jumped from 16% in 2024. Meanwhile, 55% of respondents said they would quit if they "didn't feel they belonged in the workplace." These figures underscore the importance of building an organizational culture that embraces diversity, not only to foster a stronger sense of belonging but also to enhance performance and overall well-being at work.

Mr. Yosayut Sahawatcharin, Chief People & Culture and Corporate Affairs Officer at Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said, "At Suntory PepsiCo Thailand, we embrace the 'People-First' concept as the core driver of our organization. This is clearly reflected in how we nurture and support all employeesensuring equal opportunities, fair treatment, and fostering an inclusive culture. Such a foundation enables us to create a safe and open workplace where individuals feel empowered to be their authentic selves. When employees feel accepted and supported, they can reach their full potential, deliver exceptional work, and grow alongside the organization. This is aligned with our corporate value of 'Growing for Good,' which we have always upheld."

These efforts play a crucial role in enhancing work capability, fostering creativity, and retaining talented employees over the long term. The company has recognized the importance of providing comprehensive and equitable benefits while encouraging employee engagement and being open to feedback on various issues. In line with this commitmentand following the legalization of marriage equality in ThailandSuntory PepsiCo Thailand has updated its employee benefits policy. Effective from April 2025, the company has equally extended benefits to cover employees with same-sex spouses and domestic partners, including those in non-registered partnerships, allowing them to access benefits regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or relationship status. Covered benefits include outpatient medical treatment (OPD), inpatient medical treatment (IPD), wedding leave and wedding gifts, family care day, and bereavement leave for family members.

In addition to updating its employee benefits program, this year Suntory PepsiCo Thailand, in collaboration with Suntory Beverage and Food Thailand, organized a series of activities to celebrate Pride Month and strengthen employee engagement. Highlights included an internal troop to raise awareness about DE&I, a panel discussion where employees share their inspiring personal experiences related to diversity, and a volunteer activity where employees decorated fabric bags for medicines and essential item. These bags will be donated to child patients at Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health, spreading encouragement and reinforcing the company's commitment to giving back to society.
