HEI YIN Chinese Restaurant, recognized for the finest Cantonese cuisine and seasonal menu offerings, has remained a staple in Bangkok's dining scene. The restaurant has continued to offer guests exquisite multi-course menus, crafted with seasonal ingredients sourced both locally and globally. From July 31 - August 1, 2025, we feature a French & Chinese Cuisine Collaboration Wine Dinner," a multi-course dinning extravaganza up to 10 chef-selected dishes at only 3,288+ baht (food only) with 1,288+ baht extra for the wine pairing per person (optional.)

The restaurant is beyond excited to showcase its remarkable culinary collaboration between Executive Chinese Chef Jackie Chan with a tremendous wealth of knowledge about Chinese cooking. He also brings with him decades of experience working in fine dining and luxury hotels while Chef Frederic Tual stands out for his extensive French culinary skills and techniques. A fantastic blend of French elegance with Chinese traditions makes your dinner much more special and truly a night to remember in an elegant setting. The tasting menu is priced at 3,288 baht per person with 1,288 baht for additional wine pairings and offered only for two nights - July 31 - August 1, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. onwards at HEI YIN Chinese restaurant, 3rd floor of Gaysorn Village.

The evening begins with the elegant craftsmanship of Chef Frederic Tual from Brittany, France. With over 15 years of experience in both classic and modern French gastronomy including stints at prestigious 3-Michelin-starred restaurants such as Sketch London and Robuchon au Dome Chef Frederic will present a specially curated French menu that captures the artistry, flavor, and finesse of authentic French cuisine.

Guests will then be treated to an exquisite Cantonese tasting experience by Chef Jackie Chan, Executive Chinese Chef at HEI YIN. Renowned for his mastery of traditional Chinese cooking, dedication to premium ingredients, and innovative presentation, Chef Jackie is the creative force behind HEI YIN's numerous accolades, including Tatler Dining Best Restaurants in Asia, and Shell Shuan Shim.

The multi-course tasting menu masterfully prepared by the two skillful chefs begins with:

Amuse-Bouche:

  • XIAO LONG BAO ONION SOUP AND FOIE GRAS - the famous crystal dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) wrapped in thin rice paper sheets in onion soup and rich foie gras on the side
  • CRISPY PORK TOPPED WITH CAVIAR - legendary Kwong Chow's crispy pork topped with top-tier, exclusive caviar

Appetizer:

  • CHINESE SILKY GOLDEN SHRIMP - silky crispy shrimp
  • OYSTER BEEF TARTARE - top notch beef tartar served with fresh oysters

Soup

  • LOBSTER RAVIOLI AND FISH MAW BISQUE - a smooth creamy soup of ravioli stuffed with lobster meat
  • CHINESE CONSOMME MOREL - a freshly-created dish for diner's enjoyment. Morel and fish maw are the best match. This clear soup takes on traditional French cuisine blended with Cantonese cooking.

Main Courses

  • ABALONE NOODLE - Abalone is a highly prized seafood. Our chefs use top-tier ingredients to craft refined dishes such as the Abalone Noodle whose abalones are shipped directly from reputable sources worldwide while our noodles are house made using traditional Cantonese techniques to achieve deliciousness with a touch of lightly spiced and malty brown sauce.
  • BEEF CHEEK BOURGUIGNON CHINESE SAUCE - a great take on classic French cuisine. The cheeks are marinated in various Chinese herbs to infuse them with savory and flavorful notes. This entre is served with crusty French bread on the side and gets two thumbs up.
