ODOS Summer Camp announced project progress and clarified the selection process for students to participate in the program. The announcement emphasized that the selection committee for program applicants conducts all procedures with transparency and fairness at every stage to distribute opportunities equally to students nationwide.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin, President/CEO of Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), together with Dr. Warin Ratchananusorn, Director of Digital Startup Institute of Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), as the ODOS Summer Camp project working team, jointly announced the project progress and clarified the selection process for students to participate in the ODOS Summer Camp program.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon revealed that depa has been assigned by the Cabinet to drive the ODOS Summer Camp project to open opportunities for the future world that will emerge from technological transformation for students from across the country. A special task force has been established to manage the project in accordance with the government's objectives, with Dr. Warin serving as the project director.
Dr. Warin stated that the ODOS Summer Camp project is a short-term 6-week curriculum that provides opportunities for upper secondary school students, vocational certificate students, as well as first-year higher vocational certificate students and first-year university students aged no more than 19 years old as of the application opening date (March 24, 2025) who have residency in 878 districts nationwide and 50 districts in Bangkok Metropolitan Area. The program offers experiences of living and studying at leading universities abroad, while enhancing digital skills from technology owners who are global technology companies, and finding inspiration to continue toward choosing higher-level study tracks and future career paths. ODOS Summer Camp provides free scholarships to those who pass the selection process, totaling 928 scholarships, with the government supporting all expenses including tuition fees, travel-related expenses, life insurance, accommodation costs, and daily living expenses at the same rate as government scholarship students.
Dr. Warin continued that ODOS Summer Camp has announced the list of those who passed the 2nd round of selection on July 10, with a total of 1,823 people passing from 748 districts in 77 provinces nationwide. These individuals are eligible to take the intermediate digital skills test, which can be checked through the ODOS Summer Camp project consideration status system until July 16, with the 3rd round selection results to be announced on Friday, July 18. Those who pass the 3rd round of selection must confirm their rights to participate in the curriculum/institution lottery by Monday, July 21, 2025, by completing the confirmation form and attaching travel documents. If rights are not confirmed, the project will call the highest-scoring representative next in line from the same district, followed by provincial level, regional level, and national level, respectively. The committee's decision is final. Those who pass the 3rd round of selection will receive rights to participate in the curriculum/institution lottery and interview for program participation on Saturday, July 26. However, if applicants from the same district have equal intermediate digital skills test scores, previous round scores will be considered together. For districts with no successful candidates, the project will select from the highest-scoring representatives next in line from the same province, followed by regional and national levels, respectively. The selection committee's decision for program applicants is final. This process will ensure representation from all 928 districts.
"As the project director, I confirm that the selection committee for program applicants conducts all procedures with transparency and fairness. The project will thoroughly consider all qualifications according to the specified conditions and criteria. Test participation follows the conditions of the selection examination process and test scores before announcing the list of those who pass the 3rd round of selection. The planning and implementation of each stage of the ODOS Summer Camp project adheres to distributing opportunities to students nationwide comprehensively and equally," Dr. Warin said.
