Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt presented honorary certificates and the "Nakhara Pirak Award" to government agencies, volunteers, and private sector organizations, including True Corporation Plc., represented by Mr. Vitawat Bhechsonggram, Specialist of Regulatory Operation, in recognition of the company's contribution and support in search and rescue efforts following the collapse of the new State Audit Office building caused by the earthquake on 28 March 2025. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tavida Kamolvej, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, also joined the ceremony to extend congratulations. The event, held at the Rattanakosin Room, Bangkok City Hall (Giant Swing), was organized by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to express gratitude and honor all sectors for their role in disaster relief during the incident.
During the building collapse incident, True Corporation supported communications by swiftly deploying Cell on Wheels (COW) and signal-boosting solutions to enable rescue teams to operate effectively. The company also provided free WiFi at shelters for victims and their families to facilitate communication. In addition, anonymized Call Detail Records (CDR) network data were utilized to help assess those who might still be trapped in the debris, while customer service teams closely monitored and relayed information to further support rescue operations.
