September 1, 2012, two extraordinary Italians from Turin will combine their knowledge of the epicurean arts and invite discerning diners to an unforgettable dinner experience at the award-winning restaurant, Rossini’s.
Passionate innovator of ‘New Italian Style’ cuisine, Michelin star Chef Alfredo Russo and respected sommelier Giulio Saverino will draw inspiration from each other to ensure nights of unsurpassed dining pleasure. Together, the “Two Turinos” will create sublime menus of bold and exciting cuisine, perfectly paired with carefully selected wines.
Chef Alfredo will offer two exquisite set degustation menus, and an inspired ? la carte selection of his renowned cuisine. Each 5-course degustation menu features beautifully executed dishes such as mackerel with burrata cheese, Colonnata’s lard and fresh figs, and homemade anchovy tagliatelle with Carmagnola’s bell peppers and San Daniele ham. Other temptations include crispy veal tongue with pickled onions, roasted sea bass with artichoke and mussel foam, and the flavorsome seared wild turbot with Sicilian cherry tomatoes and purple eggplants. There’s also a divine desserts such as the intriguing ‘white chocolate experience’ and the delicate rose scented whipped mascarpone cream. Each set menu ends with coffee or tea and biscotti.
? la carte diners can savor authentic appetizers such as rabbit terrine with “brusca” sauce and purple cabbage or fresh baby squid with green peas and squid ink “bruschetta”. Chef Alfredo’s choice of homemade pasta dishes includes farfalle with fresh dill-scented mushrooms and blueberries, and delicious lobster tortelli with zucchini and lobster bisque. There are also mains of perfectly cooked duck breast with creamed carrots and parsley, an inspired dish of succulent lamb rack with extract of thyme, garlic and tomatoes, and a heavenly dessert of espresso coffee iced cream and frothy cinnamon.
At each dinner gifted sommelier, Giulio Saverino, will offer his personal wine recommendations to further enhance the pleasure of Chef Alfredo’s inspired cuisine.
