Lighting & Equipment Public Company Limited (L&E) today announced the signing of a procurement and cooperation agreement with KRS Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. of Malaysia for the supply of smart LED streetlights equipped with IoT systems.
The agreement, signed September 18, 2025 at L&E's headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand, covers the installation of intelligent streetlighting along the Highway, a major thoroughfare in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This project aims to deliver significant social benefits while supporting government objectives and enhancing public welfare.
During the signing ceremony, L&E representatives presented the advanced features of the smart streetlight system, highlighting its IoT-enabled capabilities for improved energy management and enhanced public safety. The strategic discussions also focused on L&E's commitment to advancing intelligent lighting infrastructure across the region.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in strategic cooperation between the two companies, reinforcing their shared commitment to sustainable highway development that maximizes public benefit.
