
Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), represented by Mr. Yunyong Thaicharoen, Chief Economist and Sustainability Officer, received a certificate for the "ESG DNA Program for Corporate Employees" from Mr. Soraphol Tulayasathien, Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Sustainable Market Development Division, the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). This recognition reinforces SCB's commitment to leading the transformation of Thailand's financial system to support adaptation for sustainability in all dimensions.
By participating in the ESG DNA programa learning curriculum designed to enhance knowledge and understanding of sustainability for employees at all levelsSCB aims to empower its staff to drive sustainable practices within the bank, among customers, and throughout society. This learning initiative not only strengthens employee capabilities but also serves as a key mechanism to reduce risks and increase opportunities for Thailand's economic growth in the context of a future low-carbon society, in line with the SCB Live Sustainably concept.
From January 2024 to January 2025, over 75% of SCB employees in customer service and support functions completed the ESG DNA program. This achievement reflects the bank's dedication to developing its people and building a strong foundation for driving sustainability across all aspects of the organization.
The ESG DNA program is an e-learning platform featuring more than 30 courses, organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand for the second consecutive year. Currently, over 257 SET-listed organizations have participated in the program, with more than 139,000 cumulative trainees from the public sector, private sector, entrepreneurs, and business partners. The program aims to promote genuine adoption of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in business operations.
