Students of architecture and engineering in Southeast Asia and India are being urged to enter for The Emerson Cup 2012, the annual awards competition organised by Emerson Climate Technologies, part of the Emerson, the world’s leading provider of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration solutions for residential, industrial and commercial applications.
Nominations for The Emerson Cup, which recognises outstanding designs and innovations in air conditioning and refrigeration, are being accepted until September 10, 2012.
Participation is open to engineers, architects, consultants, developers, institutional owners, end-users, and students in the Architecture and Engineering disciplines.
Students have the opportunity to win an Excellence Award, which carriesUS $1,000 in prize money, there being one award for Architecture students and one for Engineering students. Students are asked to submit a project idea on the theme of a “Green and Sustainable School”.
The Emerson Cup 2012 has a distinguished panel of judges from across Asia, consisting of industry experts in the fields of green building, energy efficiency, engineering, and HVACR design and architecture.
