Bangkok--21 Aug--Hill+Knowlton Strategies Very few people know about the cancer type, lymphoma, and its associated symptoms. To increase public awareness of lymphoma, September 15th has been designated as annual ‘World Lymphoma Awareness Day’. This year, the Thai Lymphoma Study Group, under The Thai Society of Hematology (TSH), would like to invite you to join the public awareness seminar, “Recognizing Lymphoma and Sharing Experiences of the Disease”, to be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012, 12.30 — 17.00 at Muang Thai Life Assurance’s head office on Ratchadaphisek road in Bangkok (1-2 floor meeting room). At the event, you will have a chance to meet academic experts who will share their knowledge of the symptoms associated with lymphoma and treatment of the disease. The guest speakers include Professor Tanin Intragamtornchai, MD., and Associate Professor Udomsak Bunworasate, MD., from the Division of Hematology, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. In addition, lymphoma patients will share their experiences, and venerable monk Mitsuo Gavesako will give a dharma lecture. There is no entrance fee to this event, but reservations are required.
