Nikki Beach Koh Samui, in association with Lifestyleasia.com, celebrated the inaugural Nikki Beach Fashion & Arts Weekend with thousands of VIP guests beginning Friday, August 17 through Sunday, August 19. The weekend was a big draw for movers & shakers from across Asia and featured live paintings by Matt Diamond, Nartana and local Thai artists as well as sounds of Nikki Beach resident DJ Andy Vier and guest DJs Dean Michaels and Kensho. Designers who showcased their latest collections included renowned Asian designer Max Tan who launched his stunning resortwear collection as part of his new ‘Liquid’ range and Koh Samui’s leading independent designer, Vicky Curtis. Guests also had the opportunity to sample locally produced skincare products by Simply Samui and imported Australian premium accessories by Djaafar. Great food also played a large part in creating a magical weekend, with a Friday feature that allowed leading Samui chefs to join forces to create ‘food as art,’ resulting in a spectacular feast. Friday night finished with a lavish VIP party and showcased a special flamenco dance performance. The successful Nikki Beach Fashion & Arts weekend closed to the brand’s famous Amazing Sunday Brunch.
