Suntory PepsiCo Thailand and PepsiCo Thailand Transform

Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and PepsiCo Services Asia Co., Ltd. (PepsiCo Thailand) leveraged proceeds from the sale of recyclable waste under the third year of the "Waste Nothing" campaign, to support field equipment for Khao Yai National Park. The initiative reflects a holistic waste management approach that transforms "waste" into "value" and gives back tangible benefits to the source community. The donated items were received by Mr. Chaiya Huaihongthong, Chief of Khao Yai National Park.

Ms. Wipawan Tasanapreechachai, Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Co., Ltd., represented the company in presenting the field equipment to Khao Yai National Park and said, "As the main sponsor of the Pepsi Presents Big Mountain Music Festival, we see an opportunity to invite tens of thousands of festival-goers in waste segregation at source through the 'Waste Nothing' campaign. This helps contribute less the amout of landfill waste and creates tangible value from recyclable materials. Importantly, proceeds from recyclable waste do not end at the festival, but are reinvested to procure essential field equipment such as field gas stoves, gas canisters, rice, ready-to-eat meals, along with Suntory PepsiCo Thailand products, with a total value of over 81,000 baht. These contributions support the demanding work of Khao Yai National Park officials who are dedicated to protecting the forest. This initiative reflects our corporate values of 'Growing for Good' and 'Giving Back to Society,' as we strive to grow sustainably alongside our commitment to caring for society and the environment."

Mr. Chaiya Huaihongthong, Chief of Khao Yai National Park, added, "Khao Yai National Park spans approximately 2,168.75 square kilometers, or more than 1.3 million rai, and is recognized as a World Heritage Site and an ASEAN Heritage Park. Safeguarding such a vast and biodiverse forest requires the dedication of field officials or forest rangers who regularly patrol remote areas to monitor resources, prevent and combat illegal activities, and restore natural ecosystems. Annual support from Suntory PepsiCo Thailand and PepsiCo Thailand, provided for the third consecutive year through the provision of essential field equipment, food, and beverages, significantly boosts morale and enhances operational efficiency. This collaboration exemplifies strong cooperation between the public and private sectors in helping to conserve the nation's natural resources."

In addition, Suntory PepsiCo Thailand and PepsiCo Thailand donated 55 PET bottle collection bins previously used at the 15th Pepsi Presents Big Mountain Music Festival to the Khao Yai Tourism Association. The bins were received by Ms. Panchana Vatanasathien, President of the Khao Yai Tourism Association, for placement across community areas such as temples, schools, and restaurants. The initiative aims to promote the collection of clear, colorless PET bottles for recycling into new bottles through the Bottle-to-Bottle Recycling process.

The collaboration under the third year of the "Waste Nothing" campaign, implemented at the 15th Pepsi Presents Big Mountain Music Festival held on 6-7 December 2025, received strong participation from attendees. A total of 8,787 kilograms of waste was successfully segregated for recycling or appropriate utilization. This included 1,120 kilograms of used PET plastic bottles, 965 kilograms of aluminum cans, 2,660 kilograms of general waste, 2,410 kilograms of food waste, and 1,632 kilograms of other recyclable waste. The results reinforce Suntory PepsiCo Thailand's Sustainable Packaging Management and PepsiCo's pep+ (PepsiCo Positive) strategy, a strategic end-to-end transformation that places sustainability at the center of its business. Beyond reducing landfill waste, the initiative helps deliver value back to the Khao Yai area across environmental conservation, community and public participation dimensions.
