Bangkok--28 Aug--Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Mai Khao Beach
Simon Morley, General Manager of Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Mai Khao Beach along with Annop Petcharoen, Director of Human Resources led the hotel staff in donating a scholarship, stationery items, clothes and cleaning supplies as well as hosting lunch for more than 100 children at Phuket Sunshine Village Foundation, a home for orphaned children. The fundraising was gained through the resorts “Better Life Project”, a Corporate Social Responsibility project (CSR) launched in November 2011.
Simon Morley revealed that, “Our resort, being the most recent international resort brand in the north of Phuket, realizes the importance of supporting the local community where we work and live. Giving a hand to help less fortunate especially children and for those in need is one of our promises which we believe will help boost their quality of life. Phuket Sunshine Village Foundation founded in 2007 by the Lions Club Phuket Andaman Sea and Child Watch Phuket now houses in a wonderful community estate over 100 children in need. The amazing work done by this organization is an inspiration and the team at Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Mai Khao Beach wanted to contribute and help make a difference as they do every day.
