Bitkub Blockchain Technology Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Passakorn Pannok, CEO, and Ms. Niorn Kiatdamrong, Chief Commercial Officer, participated the National Startup Fest 2026. This landmark event was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in collaboration with the Ministry of Technology and Communications of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, held from April 23-24, 2026, at the Holiday Inn & Suites Vientiane.
During the event, Mr. Passakorn Pannok delivered a keynote session titled "Startup Growth and Bitkub Strategy in 2026." He analyzed 5 critical Global Transformations aligned with the World Economic Forum 2026 that are redefining the decade:- Deglobalization: A shift towards regional self-reliance.- Decarbonization: The emergence of new economic value through clean energy.- Demographics: Navigating the challenges of aging societies with new innovation.- Debt: Managing public debt and inflation through structural adjustments.- Digitalization: The game-changing role of AI and Blockchain technology.These factors have triggered a massive reallocation of global capital from tangible assets toward intangible assets, specifically in the technology fields of AI, cloud computing, and blockchain.
Regarding Bitkub Group's strategy and the outlook for the cryptocurrency industry, Mr. Passakorn noted that the market has entered the era of Institutionalization. This shift is driven by global institutions and sovereign reserves, supported by the successful launch and growth of crypto ETFs (exchange-traded funds) over the past few years.
"Bitkub's goal is not merely to build entirely new infrastructure, but to bridge local potential with global networks. We aim to empower regional startups to grow sustainably alongside these future trends," Mr. Passakorn concluded.
