GO WHOLESALE, The food wholesale center, always fresh- forward for food professionals, operated by Central Food Wholesale Ltd., under Central Retail, continues to reinforce its position as "GO Solutions" for Thai entrepreneurs. The company remains committed to sourcing high-quality ingredients at accessible prices, including imported Australian lamb, which has been rapidly gaining popularity among mid- to high-end restaurants and health-conscious consumers seeking alternative protein sources. Australian lamb meets these demands with its high protein content, low fat, and distinctive flavor profile.

Ms. Suny Sidik, Chief Commercial Officer, Central Food Wholesale Ltd., revealed that lamb consumption in Thailand continues to grow steadily, with Australia recognized as one of the world's leading exporters of premium-quality lamb. GO WHOLESALE has imported and distributed Australian lamb, which has become increasingly favored by chefs and food operators each year. This is reflected in sales performance, with Australian lamb sales at GO WHOLESALE growing by as much as 60% when comparing 2025 to 2024.
To further promote Australian lamb consumption, GO WHOLESALE partnered with the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) - the organization responsible for marketing, research, and development of Australia's beef, lamb, goat and livestock industries - to host the "Aussie Lamb Festival" at GO WHOLESALE Rangsit branch.
The event was officially opened by Mr. Cameron Allan, Trade and Investment Commissioner, the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, and Mr. Michael Crowley, Managing Director of MLA, and warmly welcomed by Mr. Ricardo Boarotto , Chief Executive Officer, Central Food Wholesale.
The event featured a Chef Table experience showcasing exclusive dishes crafted by Chef Art - Pakpoom Suwannathame, an officially appointed LAMBASSADOR by MLA (Meat & Livestock Australia). Guests enjoyed three specially created menus highlighting the versatility of Australian lamb:
- B?nh M? - A Vietnamese-style sandwich with a crusty baguette, filled with slow-braised Australian lamb shank on the bone, tossed in a special house sauce.
- Butter Massaman Curry with Lamb - A fragrant Thai Massaman curry using boneless Australian lamb shoulder, sauteed with butter, then slow-cooked with coconut milk and aromatic Thai spices until tender and rich in flavor.
- Lamb Rack Steak with Thai Jaew Sauce - A fusion dish pairing premium Australian lamb racks with spicy, tangy Thai "jaew" dipping sauce, perfectly balancing Western and Thai flavors.
Australian lamb is internationally recognized for its exceptional quality throughout the entire supplychain, from farm to table. Sheep are primarily raised in New South Wales, Victoria, WesternAustralia and Tasmania, regions known for rich grasslands. Livestock is free-range and pasture-fed, with careful attention to breed selection, animal welfare, and natural grazing practices. The production process is fully traceable back to the farm of origin and adheres to global standards including HACCP, ISO, CHPs, and Halal certification per importing country requirements.Key strengths of Australian lamb include its exceptional tenderness, mild aroma, balanced marbling, and high protein content, delivering a rich yet clean flavor. Consistent qualityacross every production batch makes it ideal for a wide variety of culinary applicationswhether grilling, shabu-shabu, mala hot pot, or cuisines ranging from Western, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and ASEAN to modern fusion dishes favored by the younger generation.
