TrueBusiness Drives Thailand's AIoT Future, Integrating Connectivity and Cloud into Intelligence for Businesses
Dr. Teeradet Dumrongbhalasitr, Chief Business Officer, True Corporation Plc., delivered a special keynote session titled "Empowering AIoT for a Smarter Business World". He said, "AI has now become a crucial infrastructure for driving the new economy, with the potential to unlock up to THB 2.6 trillion in value for Thai businesses and drive Thailand's digital economy to reach THB 3 trillion by next year. Thailand is well positioned for this opportunity, particularly with its 5G network covering 94% of the population, ranking second in ASEAN, providing a strong foundation for future growth. However, businesses continue to face 3 key challenges: Fragmentation that create barriers to digital adoption, Data Sovereignty, and the Adoption of Automation among SMEs. Collaboration with a regional technology partner, T3 Technology, therefore creates a significant opportunity to unlock these challenges through the 4-layer AIoT stack. This comprises AI Camera Hardware for monitoring and recording; Software and Analytics platform that help detect anomalies and understand behavioral patterns; Scalable Cloud and AI that collect, process, and visualize data to enable smarter and more precise decision-making; and Cloud Storage & Cybersecurity. In the real-world use cases, TrueBusiness has deployed this solution across more than 1,000 retail branches, delivering tangible results, including 40-60% less retail shrinkage and less than 90 days payback to return on investment (ROI). In addition, TrueBusiness has extended AIoT value pools across various industries including Infrastructure and Smart City, Smart Manufacturing, Smart Retail and Tourism, as well as Smart Buildings, Home & Safety. These efforts aim to help drive the sustainable growth of Thailand's digital economy."
At the summit, TrueBusiness signed a MoU with T3 Technology, a specialist in end-to-end AIoT solutions, and announced the collaboration on AI Camera hardware, cloud platforms and application software, AI features, cloud event storage services, and cybersecurity. The partnership aims to jointly drive the development, deployment, providing services, and go-to-market of AIoT Cloud AI Camera Solutions for businesses and SMEs in Thailand.
