TPBI held the "TPBI 45th Anniversary Gala Dinner - Moving Forward Sustainably" on 21 August 2026 at Grande Centre Point Prestige Bangkok. The event brought together the company's founders, Board of Directors, executives, customers, business partners and key stakeholders to look back on TPBI's growth journey and express appreciation to all those who have played an important role in the company's development over nearly half a century.
From a Recycling Business to an Integrated Packaging Business
TPBI's journey began in 1981 with a business manufacturing and distributing recycled plastic pellets in Sam Phran, Nakhon Pathom, under the name Thongthian Plastic Limited Partnership. The company was founded by three brothers Mr. Vichai, Mr. Somsak and Mr. Somchai Borrisuttanakul before expanding into the production of plastic bags for export.
TPBI continued to develop its business over the years, expanding its portfolio to cover consumables products, flexible packaging, industrial films and paper packaging.
In 2016, the company became listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand and continued to develop its capabilities from being a manufacturer toward becoming a Total Packaging Solutions provider, enabling TPBI to respond more comprehensively to customer needs in terms of products, quality, technology, innovation and sustainability.
Mr. Somsak Borrisuttanakul, Executive Chairman of TPBI Public Company Limited, said that TPBI's growth over the past 45 years has been made possible by the cooperation and trust of its customers, business partners, suppliers and employees. One of the principles the founders have always upheld is their commitment to partners and gratitude toward those who have contributed to the company's journey.

Building on the Past, Creating New Capabilities for the Future
Ms. Chamaiporn Uerpairojkit, Chief Executive Officer of TPBI Public Company Limited, said that after taking on the role of CEO in 2021, during a period when the world was facing major changes caused by the COVID-19 crisis, the company witnessed rapid changes across the business environment, technology, customer needs and industry competition. These changes have required TPBI to develop new capabilities while continuing to build on the strengths established over the past 45 years.

At the same time, TPBI has placed Sustainability as part of its business strategy, with the aim of creating value for customers, partners, shareholders, employees, society and the environment together.

During the anniversary celebration, TPBI's founders, Board of Directors and management team came together on stage, reflecting the transition from the foundation built by previous generations to the team that will drive the organization into its next chapter.
Passing the 45-year milestone is therefore not only a celebration of past achievements, but also the beginning of a new chapter in which TPBI will build on its accumulated experience, expertise and network of partners through innovation, technology and sustainability.
