Photo : Chef Alex Gares, Executive Chef of the Four Seasons Resort Samui Wonderful unique events are in session at Hua Hin Hills Vineyard, the first and only vineyard in Prachuab Khirikhan province, to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Monsoon Valley Wines. Hua Hin Hills would like to invite you to experience delicious crafted menus, each accompanied by award-winning Monsoon Valley wines, each selected to complement the food created by one of the top chefs in Thailand, Friday 28 - Sunday 30 September, 2012. Executive Chef Alex Gares of the Four Seasons Resort Samui will be the first of the 10 top Chefs to present a special elegantly prepared wine pairing five-course menu over the next several months. The first dinner will be held on Friday 28 September, 2012, 18.30. The five-course menu will start with Cherry Gazpacho with Goat Cheese, Prawn and Chives. The second course will feature Caramelized Foie Gras with Roasted Grapes, Mustard and Wine, while the third course will present Grilled Sea Bass with Broccoli Cream, Long Beans and Preserved Lemon Skin Emulsion. The fourth course will be Grilled Kagyu Rib Eye, Potato and Smoked Pancetta Terrine with Cocoa and Pepper Corn Sauce. The feast will finish with Chocolate Hazelnut dessert. Each menu will be paired with award-winning Monsoon Valley wines. This five-course menu is priced at 1,800 baht per person and 1,600 for our members, as there is a maximum of 50, reservations early are strongly advised. In addition, Executive Chef Gares will also be presenting 3-course lunch menu on Saturday 29 September, 2012 11.00 — 15.00, consisting of Sea Bass Passion Fruit Ceviche to start, followed by Mushroom Prawn and Spinach Gratin Cannelloni. The third course on the menu will feature Red Snapper with Roasted and Mashed Potato, Tomato Confit, Raisins, Black Olive and Olive Oil Emulsion, before ending our lunch-menu with Berry Frappe, Pickle Strawberries, Litchi, Basil and Coconut. The 3-course lunch menu is priced at 690 baht per person and 550 baht for our members, starting On Sunday 30 September, 2012 at 10.00 — 13.00, as a part of the 10th Anniversary of Monsoon Valley Wines, Hua Hin Hills will also be offering “Traditional Spanish Cooking Class on the Farm” , to be taught by the Executive Chef Gares himself. Students will learn how to make famous Spanish dishes such as Gazpacho, Spanish Omelet and Paella. This event is priced at 1,200 baht per person and 1,000 baht for our members. The maximum capacity is at 12 persons and reservations are needed in order to participate in this event.
