As customers expect networks to deliver more than speed, supporting both digital lifestyles and businesses in the AI era, from cloud services and IoT devices to homes, factories and smart cities. Delivering better experiences requires collaboration between True and its partners across the supply chain. This spans technology and equipment selection, network development, and the efficient use of energy and resources. GSMA, the global mobile industry association, reports that mobile data traffic in Asia Pacific increased by 350% between 2019 and 2024, while limited access to renewable energy remains a challenge for decarbonization in the region. The key challenge for True and its partners is therefore to keep raising service quality in line with customer demand while improving business efficiency without adding to the environmental burden, so that digital growth can also be sustainable growth.

True Corporation, a leading provider of digital infrastructure connecting people, communities, businesses and smart devices, joined forces with partners at True Partner Forum 2026 under the theme "Smarter Together: AI for Sustainable Partnerships". The forum elevates collaboration from a supplier relationship to a "strategic partnership", with partners working together to improve network quality and increase energy and resource efficiency across the supply chain from equipment selection and procurement to operations. True is also applying AI to improve procurement efficiency, using the GHG Emission Platform to support partners in measuring and tracking greenhouse gas emissions, and advancing pathways to Green Financing to support investment in energy-efficient and low-carbon technologies. The aim is to deliver better customer experiences while advancing the Net Zero 2050 ambition together.

Sigve Brekke, Group CEO of True Corporation Plc., said, "Technology, especially AI, is rapidly changing the way businesses operate. At the same time, the challenges we face, from rising customer expectations to energy use and climate impact, require collaboration across the ecosystem. That is why we need to move beyond transactional relationships toward strategic partnerships built on co-creation and shared responsibility. At True, those partnerships are anchored in two shared promises that we must deliver together. The first is to co-create a superior customer experience through co-innovation and smarter solutions. While customers now enjoy a smoother, faster network following the integration of the True-dtac networks, demand for data, digital services, and smart devices continues to grow rapidly. We therefore need to keep improving the network. The second is to build a more sustainable future for the next generation. Addressing climate change is part of our responsibility as a corporate citizen. By combining innovation, technology and our partners' capabilities, we can create greater value for our customers, our business and the world we will pass on to the next generation."

Dr. Naetchanok Wipatasinlapin, Chief Sustainability Officer of True Corporation Plc. said, "Partners are a vital force in driving True's Net Zero ambition, because carbon reduction must extend across the entire supply chain. We therefore place strong emphasis on growing together, bringing technology, knowledge and pathways to financing to help our partners manage carbon in practical ways while improving business efficiency. True is building its business on a foundation of sustainability, targeting a 90% emissions reduction by 2050 on the path to Net Zero, together with a 42% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 operational greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Reducing Scope 3 emissions, meanwhile, requires collaboration with partners across the supply chain. Today, 100% of True's key partners have completed ESG self-assessments and support the Net Zero goal. The next step is to turn this shared mission into tangible action. True provides partners with free access to the GHG Emission Platform, along with knowledge and training to measure and manage carbon data systematically, while also strengthening their readiness to access green financing for investment in low-carbon technologies. This year, we are also bringing the capabilities of AI into partner operations to improve procurement efficiency and strengthen the way we work together. Together, these efforts will help us grow, deliver quality services to customers and move toward Net Zero together."

Connecting AI and Environmental Data to Decisions and Investment for the Future

Operationally, True is preparing to introduce AI into the procurement process to help consolidate and analyze data, reduce repetitive work, increase speed and accuracy, and improve transparency and traceability. Cost data, partner performance and ESG information will also be used to support decision-making.

Environmentally, True continues to support the GHG Emission Platform, giving partners free access to a tool for systematically tracking, calculating and managing greenhouse gas data with greater accuracy and measurable results across their operations. Partners do not need to develop a new system. True also provides guidance, training and data verification under confidentiality measures and controlled access rights. The platform helps partners identify opportunities to reduce energy use and improve operational efficiency. In addition, verified data can help prepare partners to access Green Financing to support investment in energy-efficient equipment, renewable energy and low-carbon technologies, linking carbon-reduction goals with concrete operating plans and investment.

This year's initiatives build on True's continuing collaboration and support for partners: Building understanding of climate issues and the Supplier Code of Conduct in 2022; ESG readiness in 2023; the launch of the GHG Emission Platform in 2024; and the expansion to the Green Financing Program in 2025 to support low-carbon investment. In 2025, True's key partner group completed 100% reporting of Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions through the platform. At the same time, True received 100 points from S&P Global in both Supply Chain Management and Supplier Assessment and Development. These ongoing efforts with key partners to drive environmental sustainability reflect True's international recognition. The company has ranked in the Top 1% of the world's most sustainable companies in the telecommunications industry for eight consecutive years by S&P Global. This recognition reflects True's commitment to transforming its business through AI and integrated digital technologies while delivering tangible environmental, social and governance outcomes.
