The International Pole & Line Foundation (IPNLF), in collaboration with Blue Elephant Group, recently hosted an exclusive Asian screening of the award-nominated ocean sustainability documentary The Tuna Truth at Blue Elephant Sukhumvit, ahead of its official UK launch and global release. Distinguished guests joined the film's executive producers, sustainability advocates and food enthusiasts for an engaging evening exploring sustainable seafood and the future of small-scale tuna fisheries. The outdoor screening on the restaurant lawn was followed by a cocktail reception featuring Blue Elephant's renowned culinary creations and award-winning drinks.
A feature-length travel documentary commissioned by IPNLF and produced by Sunline Films, The Tuna Truth is presented by British chef Serena Appleby of BBC Three's Hungry for It, bringing fun, vibrant energy and a positive perspective to conversations around food and sustainable fishing. The film has been shortlisted for a Jackson Wild Media Award, widely regarded as the "Oscars of nature filmmaking."
