
PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), a global chemical company and the chemical flagship of PTT Group, continues to strengthen its financial position through disciplined capital management, encompassing debt reduction and new debentures issuance to extend its future debt maturity profile. GC has implemented its deleveraging plan since 2023, reducing interest-bearing debt by more than THB 116,000 million. As a result, GC's interest-bearing debt declined to approximately THB 149,000 million as of June 2026. The Company's continued commitment to reducing its debt through various measures and maintaining financial discipline has been recognized by credit rating agencies. On 24 August 2026, S&P Global Ratings revised the outlook on GC's credit rating from "Negative" to "Positive."
On 22 September 2026, GC successfully issued two tranches of debentures with a combined value of THB 17,000 million, comprising a 7-year tranche with a coupon rate of 2.65% per annum, totaling THB 7,578 million, and a 10-year tranche with a coupon rate of 3.00% per annum, totaling THB 9,422 million. Both tranches were assigned an AA-(tha) rating by Fitch Ratings (Thailand) Limited. The offering received a strong response from investors across all targetgroups, reflecting confidence in GC's capital structure and financial discipline, which underpin the Company's business resilience and long-term growth potential.
Mr. Thitipong Jurapornsiridee, Executive Vice President - Finance and Accounting at GC, stated "GC successfully completed the of both tranches of debentures, with a total value of THB 17,000 million, as planned. The offering received a positive response from existing debentureholders, senior citizens, and general investors, reflecting GC's intention to ensure broad and inclusive access for all investor groups. The proceeds from this offering will be used to replenish the Company's cash previously used for debt repayment, thereby enhancing its financial agility and flexibility. At the same time, we will continue to drive our growth strategy by strengthening our core businesses and further expanding our Specialty Chemicals and Green & Bio businesses to develop a high-value, low-carbon business portfolio that will serve as key foundations for sustainable growth and long-term competitiveness.
