KASIKORNBANK (KBank) has been selected to receive 'Thailand's Best Bank' award for 2026 by Euromoney, one of the world's leading financial news organisations and the organiser of one of the global banking industry's most respected awards programmes. It marks the third consecutive year KBank has been selected by Euromoney to be 'Thailand's Best Bank', and the fourth time in the last five years (2022 and 2024-2026).
Organised annually, and with over 1,000 submissions from around 120 countries, the awards programme is widely considered the most prestigious in the global banking industry and its awards are coveted because of the independence of the selection process which relies on in-depth research in the evaluation process.
KBank was selected because it ranked highly in three areas - its financial performance, including asset quality; its digital innovation to improve customer experience as well as streamline operations and accelerate the speed at which services are provided, including the overwhelming popularity of its K PLUS app; and its strategic consistency in challenging environments and the execution of the bank's '3+1 and Productivity' strategy, including the integration of ESG and sustainable banking.
KBank has been pursuing a strategy called '3+1 and Productivity' to reinforce its core businesses through proactive risk management, intelligent use of data, advanced technology and AI, maintaining a strong capital position, and prudence. At the same time, it is enhancing fee-based income by extending KBank's leadership in payments and being a trusted investment advisor to customers. It is also deepening customer engagement through its digital platforms, particularly K PLUS and K BIZ, as well as creating sustainable new revenue streams.
Ms. Kattiya Indaravijaya, Chief Executive Officer of KASIKORNBANK, said, "Receiving Euromoney's 'Thailand's Best Bank' award for the third consecutive year is very humbling as well as being a great motivator for our teams to do even better. It reflects the dedication and commitment of all our employees to drive our '3+1 and Productivity' strategy to deliver trusted, efficient, and relevant financial services that support customers through every stage of life and business. We are firmly committed to our vision of being a Bank of Sustainability that responsibly leverages data, technology, and AI to create long-term value for our customers, shareholders, the general public, and our country."
Euromoney's selection of KBank as Thailand's Best Bank also reflects several of the Bank's standout achievements in 1H26. These include maintaining its leadership in mutual funds with a 22.4% market share, while offering products and services tailored to customers' needs and advancing towards becoming their Trusted Financial Partner. KBank has also continued to strengthen K PLUS, Thailand's most popular mobile banking application, which has 24.7 million users. The Bank remains Thailand's leader in digital banking services, accounting for approximately 30% of the country's digital payment market.
Ms. Kattiya added, "For more than 80 years, KBank has believed that sustainable success is not measured by financial performance alone, but by growing alongside our customers and our community. We know that our ability to do so depends, especially at this time, on being very quick to recognize the many important changes going on around us, responding to them decisively, and then leading the way in meeting the evolving needs of our customers."
