With more than 25 years of experience in the international hotel industry, Hisakazu Sato brings extensive expertise across both the Japanese and international markets, as well as valuable experience in hotel rebranding, pre-opening, sales and commercial management.Throughout his career, Mr. Sato has held leadership positions with a number of internationally recognized hospitality brands, including Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Moevenpick Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Kempinski Hotels, Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Accor. His broad experience encompasses strategic sales and marketing, business development, international market management and the overall leadership of commercial teams.
Mr. Sato previously served as Cluster Executive Assistant Manager - Sales & Marketing at Hotel Nikko Bangkok and Hotel JAL City Bangkok, where he was responsible for overseeing the Sales Department and played a key role in the rebranding of Hotel JAL City Bangkok.His experience in managing the transition and positioning of an international hotel brand has provided him with a strong understanding of both operational and commercial aspects of hotel transformation.He will now return to Hotel Nikko Bangkok and Hotel JAL City Bangkok as Cluster Executive Assistant Manager, taking responsibility for the overall leadership and coordination of both properties, with a particular focus on strengthening sales performance, developing domestic and international markets, and further enhancing the hotels' market presence.With his extensive knowledge of the Japanese market, combined with his experience across diverse international markets and global hotel brands, Mr. Sato is expected to contribute to the continued growth and development of both Hotel Nikko Bangkok and Hotel JAL City Bangkok.
