Bangkok--12 Sep--Grayling Thailand Thai wheelchair racing team returns to Bangkok on British Airwaysafter successful fortnight in London Thailand’s wheelchair racing team — comprising 25 athletes, trainers and coaches — flew back to Bangkok yesterday from London on British Airways after a successful outing in the London Games, bringing home two silver and two bronze medals. The delegation was led by top athletes Prawat Wahoram, Saichon Konjen, Sopa Intasen, and Supachai Koysub. “It is a great honour for British Airways to have been able to take the team to the most exciting sporting event in the world,” said Sriram Narayan, British Airways Country Manager, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. “We followed them with great enthusiasm, and the wheelchair racing team no doubt won plenty of fans during the London Games. We congratulate the whole Thai team after an undisputedly successful two weeks in London.” British Airways is proud to have played its part in the success of the London Games. The airline looked after thousands of competitors, spectators and dignitaries on their flights to and from the UK.
