Asia Forestry Management travelled to Trat province of Thailand to participate in the Tree Planting ceremony as part of the national Mahaesak Project in honor of His Royal Highness the King of Thailand. Dr. Andrew Steel, CEO of Asia Forestry Management made an opening speech with the governor of Trat, Ms. Benjawam Aanprueng. Asia Forestry has continued to support the local community and environment through our commitment to sustainable development. Dr. Andrew Steel added “Over 5,000 students will be involved with this project, and hopefully their ‘green spirit’ will awaken, building awareness for the future generations.”
The event was full of media as the event was broadcasted on national television. With the contribution of local 18 schools, and 1,100 trees are to be planted. The event turned out a great success and planting trees resulted as an enjoyable experience for many.
