Mr.Shozo Saito, Senior Executive Vice President of Toshiba Corporation and Mr.Yasuo Ashizawa, President of Toshiba Semiconductor (Thailand) Company Limited recently organized a Foundation Stone Laying ceremony for its new factory on semi-conductor components at 304 Industrial Park, in Prachinburi in which located in BOI Zone 3 where maximum privileges granted to investors. The ceremony was attended by Dr.Atchaka Sibunruang, Secretary General of Board of Investment (BOI) and Ms.Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul Chairperson of Toshiba Thailand Co., Ltd.
The construction of the plant is scheduled to be completed in spring 2013. The plant will start its production to serve the future demand on devices for the steady growth market of mainly smart phones, personal computers and other consumer electronics.
