HP Organizes The “HP High-Performance Database Solutions” SeminarSharing the latest advances in HP’s mission critical computing to increase the power, capacity and performance of customer’s databases especially Oracle databases
HP recently organized a seminar entitled “HP High-Performance Universal Database Solutions” to update its local and multinational enterprise customers about the latest trends in enhancing database performance while also helping to solve their current challenges. This has become an increasingly important topic for enterprise users as most database data are constantly growing in size and complexity. Among the critical technologies discussed at the seminar was the powerful configuration of the HP ProLiant DL980 G7 powered by Intel’s Xeon processor with HP VMA-series Memory Array (HP VMA). This solution offers the capacity to consolidate and manage these complex applications in a single solution. The HP ProLiant DL980 G7 servers are optimized for the most demanding workloads while maximizing application uptime with a 200% increase in server availability due to its self-healing resiliency. Further, the HP VMA technology is an ideal platform to increase the power, capacities and overall performance of a customer’s existing databases especially Oracle databases.
Participating in the event were CIO’s and other senior executives from a wide range of major local and multinational companies. The seminar presenters included technologists from HP Thailand and Intel Microelectronics, while there was also time for customer executives, HP executives and HP business allies to exchange ideas and experiences.
