Announced in the September issue of HOTELS magazine, the inaugural Hotel Social Awards are given to hotel brands and individual properties which demonstrate successful and innovative media campaigns as well as marketing via social media.
Ranging from best Facebook page to best reputation management, the awards are divided by hotel brand and individual property. The winners are chosen by a panel of social media experts and the HOTELS editorial staff from more than 120 entries in 10 categories. Entries were evaluated for their quality, creativity and reflection on the brand’s voice and goal accomplishment, among other criteria. Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort is awarded the Best Reputation Management for its prompt and active engagement with guest’s feedback.
